Check-in time is 3 p.m. PST and check-out is 11 a.m. PST. We try to be flexible with those times but it is ultimately dependent upon the departing guests and arriving guests. We are always able to store luggage as an option for our guests.
Another option is -- if you would like to guarantee an early arrival or late departure you may rent the unit for a half a day rate- $85 flat fee- and then we mark the previous night or the remaining day off the calendar and you can check-in or out as early or late as you like.
I find West Hollywood is the ideal area for visitors. It is centrally located between Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and we are very close to Downtown Los Angeles, the Beaches, the major studios, and theme parks. We are within walking distance to some of the most famous shopping areas in the world. The Havenhurst is very close to Crescent Heights and Santa Monica Blvd just in case you would like to google it. We are located on a residential street- so it's quiet but a couple blocks away from great restaurants, shopping and nightclubs and comedy clubs.
Please ask us about pets. We occasionally allow them- with a $300 security deposit.
Once we have confirmed the arrival and departure dates, rental rates, security deposit and fees then you are ready to book. We will email you the rental agreement via DocuSign. Please review, provide payment information and sign. Once it is signed and returned to me, we will process the credit card payment of if you prefers send you a Paypal request for payment. In order to hold the place, we require 50% of the rent, fees, and security deposit to be paid at the time of the reservation. The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before arrival.
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, & Paypal. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks.
Based upon availability, and prior written permission, we do have limited parking on the driveway for only one of the Bungalows- there’s room for two cars parked in tandem. Arrangements to park on the driveway must be made in writing in advance, otherwise, there is no parking on the driveway. We do have ample street parking available along the 900 block of Havenhurst Drive. No permits are required. However, please observe parking signs regarding street cleanings etc
We are located in a very nice safe area of town- just on the border of Beverly Hills. Parents walk their kids in strollers, single women jog through the streets, etc. In fact, you can also spot celebrities who live in the area in local shops and restaurants because it's low key, safe, and no one tends to bother them.
No, we do not. Both Bungalows are smoke free.
In an effort to create a quiet, relaxing place to stay, and out of respect for our neighbors, we do not allow any parties on the premises. We want you to enjoy your stay and celebrate but please keep in mind this is a residential neighborhood and many people have to work in the morning.
The Havenhurst is within walking distance or a short drive to some of the most famous shopping in the world.
The Grove: http://www.thegrovela.com/ -- within walking distance or a short drive from The Havenhurst. It’s a new outdoor shopping mall built as an addition to the Hollywood Farmer’s Market. The Grove features a wide range of retail, stadium seating movie theatre complex, trolley-car rides, a dancing fountain, and some really nice restaurants. It’s a beautiful space and fun for the whole family and draws the locals as well as tourists.
Sunset Plaza: http://www.seeing-stars.com/Shop/SunsetPlaza.shtml Sunset Plaza is a section of the world famous Sunset Strip and within walking distance from The Havenhurst or a 5 minute car drive. It's not only known for it's designer boutiques but also for the huge iconic billboards that line the street. It's worth taking a nighttime drive or stroll down Sunset Strip to see the huge billboards all lit up.
Beverly Center: http://www.beverlycenter.com/ --within walking distance or 5 minutes by car. It’s a great indoor mall with an amazing number of stores in a very comfortable environment.
Melrose Avenue: http://www.seeing-stars.com/Shop/Melrose.shtml It’s just two blocks from The Havenhurst. Always great shopping and dining. West of Fairfax there’s the celebrity spotting at Fred Segal, and then there's Mui Mui, Maxfield, Jonathan Adler, Paul Smith, Alexander McQueen, Theory, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, and John Varvatos just to name a few. And east of Fairfax there are also some fun and funky, less expensive, cutting edge clothing stores along the street as well.
Rodeo Drive: http://www.seeing-stars.com/Shop/RodeoDrive.shtml --approximately 10 minutes by car. In the heart of Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive is probably the most famous shopping district in America. It's only a few blocks long but it's designer after designer. Lots of public parking available throughout the city of Beverly Hills.
Hollywood and Highland: http://www.hollywoodandhighland.com/ --Definitely a tourist destination- but you should visit the complex at least once because it's the current home of the Academy Awards broadcast and is situated on The Hollywood Walk-Of-Fame next to the Chinese Theatre. Most locals don't shop there because it's geared towards tourists but there are some nice stores in the mall.
Westfield Century City Mall: http://westfield.com/centurycity/ - -approximately 10-15 minutes by car. The outdoor mall has been newly renovated. They have done a great job with the renovations- a beautiful large outdoor space that still feels intimate. Plenty of underground parking available.
LOS ANGELES WEATHER
West Hollywood's Mediterranean climate requires that visitors always be prepared for warmer days and cooler nights- especially around late fall and winter seasons. Rainy season is typically November through February, though rainfall is not frequent.
A mixture of casual clothing for days and dressier clothing for the evenings is recommended, depending on your plans.
Winter (December — March) Low 40's High 60's

A sixty (60) day written notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to arrival will incur no charges. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made less than sixty (60) days but more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the "GRAND TOTAL": rent, taxes, deposits, and fees. NO refunds are given if a reservation is canceled less than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date. The policy is indisputable regardless of the reason for cancellation. We strongly suggests buying adequate travel insurance. Insurance should cover delayed/canceled travel services, weather, health, family and personal related cancellations. An unscheduled early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. The remaining balance from the cancellation fee will be refunded within thirty (30) days of the written notice of cancellation.
A $500 security deposit may be required at the time the agreement is executed. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 30 days of departure, provided the conditions outlined in the rental agreement are met.
Absolutely. We just like to let parents know that our house is not child-proof. So for parents with toddlers it requires that they inspect our place carefully to make sure items are placed out of reach.
